Not necessarily 'good' but there's nothing like these fellas. So suck it up, at least one of their albums belongs here forever and always.
Step-dad rock.

Sure, Bobby W is a boring old biddie. But he's allowed to be. I don't make the rules.
The list probably doesn't need one of his 90's records however.

Glad old mate made it. Seems he's a big deal for certain types of guys. Not for me.
Rated 4/10
There's absolutely zero chance this is a must hear album. Bob only knew 1001 albums. What a jackass.

Dirty goodness

Better than Tool I reckon.

Aww yeah. Favourite Neil. Rip yourself a honeyslide and get on with it.
Lovely stuff.
Too review guy doesn't like Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath off the album Black Sabbath. What a jackass!

Flippin rips, man. One day I'll buy it.

MIA is weird now haha.
Still not sick of repeating myself: this list doesn't require both MIA albums. Surely Kala is more essential

Sure, it's good, I actually prefer it to Loveless sometimes. But, this list doesn't need every mbv album.

Mike Watt: top 10 guy.
Riddle of the 80s is such a tune. The rest, pretty 3 stars. They walked so Sebadoh could run.
RIP D. Boon

God these guys were and are cool

Been a while since I've got something I've not heard of. Unfortunate that it seems to be sub-par English (of course) Techno.
Rated 6/10
Not a prog guy but king crimson are some top class dweebs.
People on here really like prog rock eh. Internet guys.

Speaking of fellas who changed the game. Rules but I cannot listen to an entire Beasties album, the yelling (especially Mike D) gets very grating.
Dated sure, but they grew with the times.
Rated 6/10
One day we'll be ready to have the discussion about whether this is a bit dated.
Call me contrarian but I've always found it mildly lame. I can accept that probably wasn't the case in the 70s. But that was also over 50 years ago.
Full wanker mode: can one of the top selling records of all time really have been all that progressive. Counter: it's still considered progressive 50 years later.
The good thing is albums of this ilk caused a visceral reaction in the underground and we got new types of interesting music as a result.
For all those reasons and more: generous 3 stars. I'd never put it on and often change the station if it's playing on the radio but can't full hate. On The Run goes hard.
