Feel like I could probably have copy and pasted yesterday’s review again, maybe a little better but still quite noisy and edgy and the guy can’t really sing

certainly one of the albums of all time, pretty mid also. kinda reminded me of the modest mouse album in that this guy cant really sing either lol

Pretty mid ngl, it's not BAD but idk about have to listen to before you die. Persian love is nice but maybe a bit long which really says something given that it's the 2nd shortest song on the album 2

I think I've definitely come round to not disliking the smiths anymore but there really wasn't much here that I particularly liked either. Whining man now whines about being a vegan also 3

I can tell it's good, I just still don't like jazz all that much. 2/5

Don't stop, rock with you, and off the wall all slap pretty hard, rest of the album is a vibe but nothing too crazy either 3.5

I'm not sure there is a song I despise more than Proud Mary. I have heard it so many times covered by crappy karaoke level performers when I worked at the Tory club in Hexham when I was 18, literally every single Saturday night someone else would come and play it. The original version is easily the best version of this song and is actually listenable, way better than whoever has the popular cover of it. Some good songs on here too also, graveyard train drags a bit, keep on chooglin was nice 3

I feel like this could grow on me but at the same time there is not a lot drawing me back to listen again? It is quite samey all the way through Maybe I need to give it a proper relisten and actually give it my full attention rather than listening whilst working 3

This was fun, all the songs are pretty groovy. I think I enjoyed this more than the elvis album. But it's not really my sort of music and I'm not sure I'll be coming back to it 2.5

Think I was kinda disappointed in the this album from the AM top 100 and it's still not really clicking for me now either. I still think cash's version of hurt is better. 3

This is pretty experimental and sounds ahead of its time in a way that some of the Beatles albums do from this time. Some of the effects on here don't sound that special in today's music but I can't really think of many songs from the sixties that sound like this. Again think this would be more popular in general if it was in English 3

Yeah this was fine, probably need to give it another listen. A bit of Sam fender vibes from it 3

Yeah this was really fun, and I will be come back to this I think. The aqualung story does trail off a bit before the end but oh well. Really liked the flute solo on my god 4

Was kinda ready to write this one off after the first listen. Not a massive fan of fairytale of New York, I’m not sure I agree with “cancelling” songs for the language they used back when they were wrote but listening to a song with slurs in doesn’t feel right.

I am glad I went for a second listen though the run from metropolis through fiesta was kinda peak.

The broad majestic Shannon does sound like a non Christmas version of fairytale of New York

Real good vibe to vibe to whilst vibe coding. Apart from maybe when he starts freaking on the drums or synths which did kinda throw me out of the zone a bit when they happened 4

Just a bit generic and bland. I appreciate this may have been more influential and out there in the 70s but listening today it's just a bit boring 2

Some absolute bangers on here, and some of the best love songs on here too. Do think some ( a lot) of the songs are a little too long, like there is a 5/5 album on here if like several of the songs are reduced by about a third lol 4

Not sure about this elvis album, was expecting more from the "king". Blue suede shoes is obviously a banger but everything else was a bit forgettable. Okay I actually really like blue moon. 2/5

Yeah this is a good fun album, possibly would've enjoyed it more actually hearing it live Only had the chance to give this one listen through so I might come back to it at some point 3
