It was fine. It had some four-ish songs. It maybe should have been only 30 minutes.

Some nice country goodness. Any friend of Willie is a friend of mine.

Started out OK, but overstayed its welcome. Perhaps it just needed to be half an hour?
Rated 8/10
This was so very good. I’m going to go listen to more from them.

Yeah. I’ve loved this album for a long time. I’d put the first four track up against any other opening four tracks. The rest of the album is also so, so good.
This is an easy 5 stars for me and seeing them live is fun.

Actually, something about this hit me just right enough to give it a 4.

Pretty much what I expected.

You can definitely tell this album has one guy from Steely Dan in it and is missing the other guy.

About halfway through, I thought that this was actually pretty interesting and fun to listen to. They were trying out different stuff, and hitting on different styles of music.
By the end, this was off the rails.
Evens out to a 3, I suppose.

I like the Sonic Youth.

Fine. Pretty good. Never got into them. Though I do remember one member of this group telling another that they WILL like The National.
I really wanted to like it, and it started out OK. But by the end, I was preeeeettttttyyyyy over it.

Ah, the part of Stop Making Sense where it’s time to go to the bathroom.
This had some OK songs on it, and I didn’t hate it. It can have a 3.
Rated 8/10
I liked this. 28 very short good songs.
Rated 6/10
Interesting. I’d never listened before. I’m not sure I will again, but I kind of liked it.
Rated 8/10
I kind of love this album and kind of love Oasis. But not really. Ya know?
Rated 4/10
One thing this project has taught me is that I like metal about as much as I thought I did. I think it’s the vocals.
Fine. Pleasant. Nothing special.
Rated 6/10
I had never heard of this band. After reading the description and some reviews of this album and some other reviews of different albums, I was excited to check it out.
I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed, but I was hoping to enjoy it more. Still, I’m glad I was exposed to this.
Rated 4/10
It’s been almost 20 years since I listened to this during my Residents phase that was mostly influenced by an old friend who has since passed away. Back then, this might’ve gotten a 4.
Despite the nostalgia, and some fun moments, this is pretty grating and I’m not mad it’s been so long since I listened. Will I ever listen again? Maybe not.
