I will admit that this band has never been one that I listened to. This gap in my consumption is a bit shameful/surprising considering my fondness of this type of music from this era.

Anyway, thanks generator for having me listen. I loved it. Time to rabbit hole.

4. 5 if I were stoned.

As a guy that is a casual Dead fan and saw Dead & Company at The Sphere, I can confidently say that this was good.

Man, it must have been fun to be in this band. And fun to see them live. They could play and they could jam.

I’m I liked this less than I thought I would. I thought I’d like the hits?

I guess I always considered Bon Jovi to be a notch above glam/metal arena rock. Boy, was I wrong. Thumbs down.

Oooooo, yeah. This one hit me just right. Cool riffs, cool guitar tones. But more mellow than the other one? It hit this nice groove of glam/heavy rock but didn’t go too over the top for me

I think this might have made me a T-Rex fan.

All the way through I Can See for Miles ( song I love) this was four stars. After that, the quality steeply dropped off.

Karma Chameleon is a good song. The rest, except for one or two others, I didn’t like. Probably a matter of personal taste, but this gets a 2 from me. I also question its inclusion on this lis for one song.

I never got into this band, but was cautiously optimistic. I liked it OK, but it didn’t make me regret having it listened to it yet.

Hey, look. All my criticisms on all the very similar albums we’ve listened to still hold. But at least this had some more interesting songs and guitar playing on it. And the last few songs actually pulled this up to a 3.5 for me. But 3.5 is not 4.

I hope now we get something different tomorrow.

Let’s see…

This was alright. I certainly can’t argue with it being on this list.

It had too much of the glam rock, falsetto, arena rock vocal element to it for my taste.

Near the end of this, when another song started and my reaction was “Really? It’s not over?” I knew I had to give it a 2.

After the first couple of songs came on, I was like “Oh, ok. I’m not going to love this, but it’s fine. Probably a 3.”

Half an hour later, I realized that my earbuds were still in and it was still playing. Not a great sign. I listened to the last few songs more actively, despite the album apparently not deserving my attention. Are they just watered down Green Day?

Anyway, it was a pretty nothing of an album, and I can’t justify putting it in the same tier as other albums I’ve given threes to, even CrazySexyCool.

Some of this was great. I couldn’t help but think of Girls5Eva during a lot of it. They were/are very clearly very talented and Waterfalls is a masterpiece. Comes out to a solid 3 for me.
