A good ol' Greenday album. A song like American Idiot has only gotten even more relevant with the time.

Once that has been said, it's Green Day and as such it's punk just a bit more convoluted than the others.

Favorite Songs: American Idiot ; Jesus of Suburbia ; Boulevard of Broken Dreams

OK there is the cover of "Femme Fatale", but it is incredibly meh.

I'm sorry but this album didn't do much to me. Yes the tube are great and it's good old fashion rock but I was not moved.

Favorite Songs: Born in the U.S.A. ;

Didn't know much from Creedence Clearwater Revival, only their name. And this is a surprise as I really liked what I ear now. This bluesy / rockabilly sound is groovy as fuck and it twist just like you need it.

Favorite Songs: Ramble Tamble ; Before You Accuse Me ; Up Around the Bend ; I Heard It Through the Grapevine

A good noise rock album. It won't ever be my favorite album by a long shot but there are some groovy tunes and some others that are funny. So I'd rather listen to such a release than to yet another nu metal album. 3.5 rating up

Favorite Songs: There's Always Room on the Broom ; We Fenced Other Gardens With the Bones or Our Own ; They Don't Want Your Corn - They Want Your Kids ; Hold Hands and It Will Happen Anyway

Do we really have to hear every above average country album?

I don't think so as I am pretty sure there are more interesting folk songs from Japan, Turkey or India than yet another one folk / country album from the states.

Huge groovy hits in this album that blends rap, funk and pop. It's the kind of album that make rap listenable by my parents with all

Favorite Songs: So Fresh, So Clean ; Ms. Jackson ; B.O.B. ; We Luv Deez Hoez ; Humble Mumble

This is one of those albums that will always be dear to my heart with The Soft Bulletin. The Flaming Lips have this capacity to make catchy songs but at the same time there is always some experimental part to the songs.

And the mix of sadness and hapyness of a song like "Do You Realize?" will always move something for me. One of their best song. The verse "And instead of saying all of your goodbyes / Let them know you realize / That life goes fast / It's hard to make good things last" is so right and as I get older it only gets more and more right.

Favorite Songs: Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Part 1 & Part 2 ; In the Morning of the Magicians ; Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell ; Do You Realize??

Just like diving deep, when listening to Slipknot you have to make regular break in order to cleanse your ears. This process renders an already too long album totally insuferrable.
