There's only a few songs on here that really turn my head, but baseline Bob Marley is so good that I can't help but give this one a four-star rating.

There are bits and pieces here and there that I thought were somewhat cool, but overall it's a real piece of shit. Like I feel like vomiting up my throat.

Maybe I'm just feeling generous today, but damn, this was kinda great? Not really my kind of music, but I'm impressed.

If you asked me yesterday if I liked this album I would’ve said yes, absolutely; but to be honest I probably haven’t listened to this album in full since high school— 25 years ago. So it was good to be reacquainted with fond memories of the past.

Anyway it’s intense and beautiful and Billy makes the best of what is not the world’s most pleasant voice.

I do like the Allman Brothers, but to be honest the only album of theirs I really listen to regularly is Eat a Peach, which feels more magical than this one.

Live albums can be difficult to pull off, but the Allmans style of music works well for the format. It is kind of amazing that they could just... keep going forever if they wanted to.

I mean, what are we even doing here guys? What's the point of it all? What is our collective higher purpose?

It starts out rough with the vocals gratingly off-pitch at times. Then I'm sitting here thinking about ways in which the production team failed, which means the songwriting wasn't good enough to hold my attention. I think the final nail in the coffin is me realizing this album is from 2000 and it just seems like this sound was passé by then.

This is one of the albums they teach on the first day of Classic Rock 101. When you ask your dad, "hey dad, what was classic rock all about?" This is one of the albums that would be bestowed upon you like a crown and scepter. Listen, my son, and learn the ways of your great rock forebears.

Truth be told, it's a bit corny in places. But still a 5 all day.

A little corny around the edges, but all in all an excellent album. There’s a lot of stuff on here that hadn’t really been done before, even considering the way-paving done by the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Hollies, and others.

It must be nice to have so many musical ideas rolling around in your head that you feel you must put them all out into the world.

At first I thought this was a little too straight-ahead, but the weirder and trippier it gets, the better it is.
