I did zero research for this one beforehand and so I wasn’t prepared for this album to be so lyrically sparse, but I really enjoyed it!

Maybe I’m not old enough to get this one. I understand and respect that it influenced a bunch of people who I respect, but I don’t feel the need to listen to it to respect its legacy.

Thanks, but no thanks.

This is Dylan album 5/7 for me and it’s my favorite one yet. I’d easily put this one on my list of favorite albums. I’m not buying that this isn’t about his divorce because it so obviously is and that context adds a ton of weight to the album for me.
When I learned that these guys had more than the one song everybody knows I was amazed. I’m much more amazed that most of this album is better to me than Eileen.

I went in expecting weird and that’s exactly what this is. I’d say it’s a 50/50 split between good-weird and bad-weird which is a higher ratio than I thought it’d be.

Hey it’s that one song! I personally think Bronze would have been a better album title.

Highly influential for sure, but the blues has always been too repetitive for my taste.
Rated 6/10
Probably the most middle of the road folk album I’ve ever heard.

I recall hearing Somebody to Love at a very early age and loving it immediately and I had a similar experience with White Rabbit. I’m glad to learn that the rest of the album is good too!

For most of my life I said these guys were my favorite band. If I had to reevaluate now that may not be the case, but I’ll always love this music. This may be the album I’ve listened to the most in my life.
Rated 6/10
I didn’t know what this would be like before listening, and I feel like it’s the most average sounding rock album I’ve heard in a while.
Rated 6/10
Albums like this are often hard for me to listen to in one sitting because there’s little to know variety in the music.
Rated 6/10
This album got me moving, but my enthusiasm was unfortunately short lived.
Rated 8/10
There are very few albums I would agree are “important” and this is definitely one of them.
Rated 6/10
I loved the concept of this album but not enough to sustain my enjoyment for the whole runtime.
Rated 4/10
This may be the most unremarkable 80’s album I’ve ever heard.
Rated 8/10
I didn’t understand what the fuck this was about and yet it was still moving. I really enjoyed this one.
Rated 4/10
The Prodigy is 0/2 for me and I’m glad it’s over!
Rated 10/10
Country music is super underrepresented on this list, and it doesn’t get much better than Dolly.
