The title of this didn't excite much confidence, but it's pretty good actually! Like electronic music meets prog meets dream pop meets French. I enjoyed my time muchly.

Rated 4/10

Thought this pink flag would be camp, alas tis damp.

Just nothing deep or special to me, nothing really develops because it's always off to the next thing, and the cockerney accent grates on my wee ears

Hmm the music sounds good, but I preferred the other Kinks album I had (the Princess Marina Joyce Hat one). Did kinda blend into one during the end but the music is solid!

BerlinLou Reed

Rated 10/10

This might be a masterpiece you know, or maybe it just really appeals to me. Meh, means the same thing really.

Gorgeous, interesting, slightly experimental (but not that much) music in this for real, that's what drew me in. I was grooving listening to this tale of love (at the start). Oh yeah and shout-out briefly to Lou Reed's voice, it's really nice and clear, don't know what everyone's problem is.

As this went on, and as I was grooving around my wee flat, the latter half really drew an emotional reaction from me. How utterly horrifying, how bold, how brilliant, and it's an amazing combination of songwriting, instrument playing and sing-talking. "Sad Song" what a fucking banger of a final song. Big finale that still has that gut punch.

Maybe people didn't appreciate this at the time (and now) because they aren't half musical theatre camp, and the other half muchly interested in the murky pitch-black darkness of life. Luckily I'm here now, so I can give it it's flowers.

Long live the rock opera x

Started off with vlog music lol.

Much better than I thought this was gonna be yet again. Always nice to be pleasantly surprised. Based on the name of the group, I thought it would be indie rock shite, but nah synth pop always has the ability to slay. Had a lovely walk to this, perhaps it gets a little bit samey after so many songs, but there were some class songs here, especially at the start.

This is a heck of a lot better than I thought it was gonna be. I associate Billy Joelle with his 80s pop music, but this 70s stuff is class. Scenes from an Italian Restaurant was my favourite.

Bit of a rollercoaster with this one. Saw I got it and was like "oh it's a jokey one a bit like the Monkees yaknow". Then I didn't like the first one, but warmed and warmed to it until it peaked at Love is Only a Feeling. Earnest! Maybe, not sure. But I did like it. However, then I felt it slip back into juvenile again, like they could produce better music than they are currently doing. So it lands at a 3, but it was briefly a 4.

Lots of different styles on display here. The naughty little flea obviously iconic, but the dying husband had me pissing myself. Twas at its best when it had the backing choir vocals I thought

After 2 5 star Stevie Wonder albums, this one seemed to lack the magic that one gets with the others, it's not as magic or heartfelt, and the songs seemed to drag honestly. Superstition is a banger forever and always, but I couldn't tell you much about the rest of the album. Not unenjoyable, the music his voice keep it good.

Now I've listened to Kacey Musgraves properly, I think I graduate into a full-time homosexual.

Lots to love here. I already knew the rainbow song, but anyone encountering that for the first time is in for a treat. Obviously the slower sadder songs are best
