Sounds like felt, feels like felt. Lovely, relaxed music.

It's a very decent album. I think Beetlebum is my favourite Blur song. The other singles are great (Blur singles are always great). Death of a Party is nice and dark too.

Masterpiece. The first half is weird, mutant, alien pop music. It's as strange as a rock band can sound while still being rock. Sound and Vision might be the greatest song of all-time. The second half is blissful and way, way ahead of it's time. Pretty much a perfect album. It's even got great cover art.

The musicianship is too good. There are some impressive parts, but it's too cheesy.

I would say this was a pleasant surprise, but there's some dark shit on here. I had this for a whole weekend, so I got a good feel for it. It's really good. I love the ambition of the storytelling. The subject matter is pretty gritty, but why not go there?
Rated 6/10
Occasionally decent but mostly bang-average Britpop. And I love britpop. The album is saved by the singles, which are pretty strong.
Rated 8/10
Great vibes. Sounds lovely at night. Only slightly below absolute classic level.

Diet Nirvana. Some surprisingly decent tunes on here alongside some actual cod reggae.

I feel like this was a misfire after the debut. Loads of ideas but no tunes.
Rated 8/10
This breaks all the rules of me liking it. It is VERY 80s sounding and VERY pop. But this is full of great songs and great performances. The singles are catchy after a single listen and there's not a bad song here.

Proper good racket this. The guitars sound incredible. Some of the hip talking is a little dated but this rocks.
Rated 6/10
Not my favourite flavour of hip hop, but I think if I gave this album more time I would like it.
Great cover art.

Another new one to me. Moody 90s/00s beats. I like this kind of thing, even if it doesn't really go anywhere or do anything new.
Rated 8/10
Dark, moody, jazzy beats. Sounds great on headphones. It's new to me and that's an added bonus as well.
I was expecting it to be all primitive hip-hop, but it's actually mostly funk music. The hip is there in small doses, and very good it is too. Some of the other tunes haven't dated as well - the Stevie Wonder naming song is not good.
Rated 4/10
Too corny. The lead vocal is annoying. The riffs are recycled. Loads of superior music was made in the 60s.
Rated 4/10
A tough listen. I appreciate the bravery to make something this noisy, but it's not for me.
Rated 8/10
Relentless. Like being tortured in a pitch black dungeon for an hour. In a good way. Obviously, I'm not always in the mood for this, but when it hits it really hits.
Rated 10/10
Hits a sweet spot like you wouldn't believe. Hey You and Nobody Home are so bittersweet. I take great pleasure in wallowing in this album when I'm feeling ill. Just glorious.
What a strange album. I was expecting lots of sordid songs about kinky sex. There's a bit of that, but lots of slightly average covers.
