Rated 10/10

I'm more familiar with the next album, Rid of Me as I own that one, but this one I think I've streamed a few times in the past. But ya, it's great, nice raw sounds, great emotion in the singing to go along with it.

I had heard a lot about this album but never actually heard it. As a big REM fan I knew her from E-Bow the Letter and later on Blue. This was good but I was probably hoping for more from hype.

Never heard of this before. I read the description of folk rock singer songwriter, so thought it might be alright, but no. Too country for me.

Not my thing, I don't like most classic rock. I knew Dancing in the moonlight from the Smashing Pumpkins cover, but I much prefer that version. I can't stand saxophone in songs either.

I generally don't like classic rock or metal, but I do like this! That early metal sound I guess was the sweet spot for me before it evolved into what came later.

I might have heard a song or two a few times by them but generally wasn't that familiar. But ya, I really liked it, the dissonant sounds mixed with the nice singing.

I remember first hearing of them through Missing from the previous album, and I think I remember hearing Wrong from this one. I remember seeing this album cover art a lot. But the rest of the album was just ok.

It was ok but that description saying this helped to develop trip hop left me confused, as I didn’t hear that at all.

First time listening to any of this album, only knew a few Cure songs before this. I liked it. Surprised how much instrumental parts a lot of the songs had.

Oh this has that song from Stranger Things. I didn’t know the others here as I only know a handful of their songs, but ya, good stuff.

I knew the 3 big songs, but not the rest of the album. Ya, it was good, I really liked the rest also.

Not for me, I don't like the classic rock sounds, and I really don't like the country and blues stuff.

Rated 6/10

I never really heard them before, but had heard Big Star was a big influence on REM, and heard Elliott Smith's cover of 13. But hearing a whole album I can hear those influences on them. It was ok to me, but didn't hit as much as I thought.
