It was pretty chill. I can see why this isn't his most known work, though. It didn't have strong hooks like some of his hits do. I suspect that it hits different when you have time to pay attention to the lyrics.

I thought it was just aight.
That was so very country, it was the most country you could possibly get in 28 minutes. It wasn't bad though.

Unfinished Sympathy is sick af. Massive Attack in general is sick af. Trip-hop is such a great genre. Hymn of the Big Wheel is also chill.
Rated 6/10
Fantastic album with several hit songs, old school rap. I love Thin Line and What's Golden.
It's all French to me.
Rated 6/10
Very chill, great in the background or dedicated listening.
Rated 8/10
I already know and love this album. It's just so good. All the soul, all the funk, all the cool. Pusher Man is one of the greatest and most iconic tracks of all time.
Rated 6/10
Pretty cohesive grungy metal sound. I think this album's significance comes from how they pulled all the pieces of the genre together into a week compared album.
Rated 8/10
I had no idea how instrumental this would be. For some reason I thought Fatboy Slim was a rapper? Is he actually a producer? Apparently yes, and he's a very good one. This is an electronic pre-trip-hop album. I dig the riff in Everybody needs a 303. It was a solid album and I can totally see how it influenced the genre.

Now I know where the sledgehammer song is from! I like having Peter Gabriel on, but for whatever reason I never listen to him.
Rated 6/10
It's a pretty good album, I thought the cover songs were interesting but not necessarily an improvement. The later songs on the album that had their own Indian and western synth sound were really solid.
How did I end up with another country album? It didn't start out that way did it? I'm not sure, but oh well. Okay it's also some kind of British Bruce Springsteen type of thing.
Rated 4/10
It was a country album. I didn't love it, but there was a few decent lines in West Texas Waltz.
Rated 8/10
Stevie Wonder is so funky and talented. I didn't previously know the track I believe, but it's so good. And of course, Superstition is an icon of a song.
Rated 6/10
I didn't realize he had played that "Fever" song. It was a pretty good album, not the Elvis that I expected either.
Rated 10/10
Fantastic album, with several songs that have had enduring popularity.
Rated 10/10
This album is the best of its genre, IMO. if you don't like it, you won't like reggae. I love it, such a great album.
Rated 6/10
Hangar 18 is the best song on the album. Classic thrash metal.
Rated 4/10
They definitely had a unique style and sound, but I don't know if I loved it so much. I would say that they were ahead of their time, but no, I think at 1978 they were perfectly on time.
