Mostly not what I'd listen to by choice but the up-tempo tracks are bangers.

Some classic early 90s alternative. I've heard enough.

It's generally a truism that the more famous a person is the more overrated they are. Shankar is a notable exception.

Talented folks but I like their other albums better.

Hell yeah this is both creative and fun.

How had I never heard Magazine? This album rips.

The White Stripes are always a joy. Not sure I'm a Jack White fan but he's a generational talent and had lightning in a bottle when he played with Meg.

I can see why people love this so much but it's not really my bag.

Delightfully British hippy dippy. Reminds me of Cream at their silliest.
I really wonder what John would have gotten up to in the last several decades if he hadn't been killed. He really was the voice of the Beatles.
I'm a Zappa apologist for the most part and was introduced to the mothers by my father (haha) so this has sentimental value. On reflection it's pretty self-indulgent and mostly mean mocking so . . .

A pop music inflection point. The dawn of popular grunge (sorry Neil Young, sorry Kinks).

Is Eileen okay with this?

Hella influential. Not sure I'd listen to again for fun but I enjoyed it.

It's like more Flaming Lips. And I always want more Flaming Lips!

Gives the Afro-Cuban Allstars a run for their money. Perfect for cooking.

Terrible. Maybe if he got someone else to sing it would be tolerable but this is pure earnest schlock.

Incredible. King Crimson should be as well known as Pink Floyd, The Who, or Jethro Tull. They're in the rock opera pantheon for sure.
Rated 10/10
Feels like pop music but so delightfully weird.

Meh.
