We Are FamilySister Sledge

Rated 6/10

Groovy and soulful. Unfortunately, this just didn’t stand out all that much to me.

Top tracks: He’s the Greatest Dancer, Easier to Love

GreenR.E.M.

Rated 6/10

There are some good songs on this, but nothing that blew me away.

Top tracks: Stand, The Wrong Child, Hairshirt

Hounds of LoveKate Bush

Rated 8/10

I love how Kate Bush has never shied away from being her own unique self. Very enchanting and creative album.

Top tracks: Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God), Cloudbusting, And Dream of Sheep

Lost SoulsDoves

Rated 6/10

Not bad, but most of the songs sounded the same.

Top tracks: Melody Calls, Catch the Sun

Van HalenVan Halen

Rated 10/10

Fcking fantastic. I wanted to scream the lyrics at the top of my lungs; I can only imagine what a Van Halen show must’ve been like in their heyday. This is pure energetic hard rock that very obviously influenced the glam metal sound that became popular in the decade that followed.

Top tracks: Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love, Jamie’s Cryin’, Feel Your Love Tonight, Ice Cream Man
