nije za mene, al fora, na trenutke baš lijepo :)

Rated 6/10

A good album that I wouldn't normally listen to. That's a three star rating, baby

Rated 6/10

I didn't hate it, but it made me feel very very sleepy. 2.5

Rated 8/10

Loved it! The really focus in on a particular style that really works for them and they're a pleasure to listen to.

Maybe the second half wasn't as great as the first.

Rated 8/10

Loved it! Dreampop, ethereal. Great as background music, or active listening. It's versatile

Rated 6/10

Kind of a drone but in a good way.

Rated 2/10

I'm sure this is well done for what it is, but I really can't stand this style music.

Nice enough

Rated 2/10

Teen Dream by Beach House completely passed me by back in 2010—I’d never heard of the band or the album until now.

Given the glowing reviews, I was expecting something truly special. But honestly, this one just didn’t land for me. I understand that it was seen as a fresh alternative to indie and pop at the time, but to my ears, it feels middle of the road. Nothing stood out, nothing stuck with me, and overall, I found it quite dull. It lacks the energy and inventiveness of similar-era acts like MGMT.

Favourite tracks: “Real Love” and “Silver Soul” were okay.
Least favourite tracks: Most of the album, unfortunately. It just feels very mediocre.
Album artwork: Not much to say—uninspiring.

Rated 4/10

Airey upbeat and ambient dreamy indie made for chilled out coffee shop background music playlists - pleasantly woozy and unobtrusive, pretty, light, lush with energy from the bass, style from the synths, and heartfelt earnestness from the vocals - but ultimately kind of boring empty purely mood music.

Atmospheric and so beautiful

Rated 8/10

Playing Tame Impala music before Tame Impala was Tame Impala...

Rated 6/10

Not a bad listen, though some of it was pretty boring/wallpaper (and not in a fun, ambient way). Not offensive, just not a standout indie album. 3/5

Rated 6/10

Great album to play in a room down the hall while you take a nap on the living room couch.

Rated 4/10

First one on this list where i hadn’t heard of the band … didn’t do much for me and not sure why it’s here.

Rated 6/10

I never was into them because they felt really smug about their schtick. Listening to it now I've mellowed out and this sounds a bit more up my alley. It still gets a bit repetitive and dull but not as bad as I remember.

Rated 10/10

Perfection!
I could literally sleep to this, coincidentally, I have many times!

Rated 6/10

This is a record that I can't really imagine anyone having a strong reaction to one way or the other. It's so aggressively bland. Like dry white toast - you might not want to eat it but if that's all there is, it'll be fine yet unmemorable. I can't really pick out anything to comment on, it's all just...fine. Vocals? It's got them. Drums? Yep. Guitars and bass? Sure. Synths? A lot. But like, none of it stands out at all. Honestly I don't get why it has such high ratings. I guess because it is put together well and isn't offensive in any way? I don't know, it just seems too safe to me. 2.5/5 but I guess I'll round up because I've heard worse albums?

Rated 6/10

Don't got a ton to say about it. 10 years ago might have been a 4, but not really looking for this kinda indie rock right now, personally.
