Absolutely brilliant.

Bass and drums in particular are absolutely inspired. And then you have some great vocal hooks and super brass riffs to tie it all together.

Brilliant!

Rated 6/10

Izuzetno funky. Bolje od Funkadelica definitivno, ali ni ovo mi nije genijalno. Tipični funk problem, beskrajne monotone pjesme.

It was alright

Favorite track(s): it's all the nastiest funk in the universe, only on WEFUNK

Funky and weird. The last song had lots of sounds that sounded like farts—maybe that’s me being childish but it was early when I listened to this. Overall, not something necessarily bad, just something I don’t really want to listen to again. 2.5/5

Rated 4/10

Repetitive, I could hardly listen to it all. I like the album cover, though.

Rated 6/10

It's so funky! And very much a concept album. I was surprised that there's really only one song on there that's not a concept song, give up the funk.

Woo, Parliament! - this record is fun. I decided to listen to it while doing some weights and crunches and such but ended up mostly dancing instead.

Lyrics to "Handcuffs" didn't age particularly well, but otherwise there's not a dull moment on this record.

I want my funk pure and uncut!

Legit though, why is it required that every other word be funk?

Rated 6/10

Started off loving this funky celebration, got bored with the sameness in the middle but it redeemed itself with Give Up the Funk. Nearly got four stars.

Rated 6/10

Whilst this is not really to my tastes, I can see it’s an important milestone in the history of music. And paved the way for a lot of the hip hop and R’n’B that was to follow.
It just all blends into one for me after a while, take a funky bass line, add some horns, maybe a synth line, Clinton talking some gibberish and/or the chorus line singing something repetitive, then keep it going for 6 minutes or so. Happy to have listened to it, but not likely to return any time soon.

Rated 8/10

This is some great funk. It can get very repetitive at times, but not annoying. This album is a party. The last song was pretty bad though. Overall, really fun and really good album.

Rated 10/10

I would never have come across this album without this project. The cover alone would have put me off. A great album, which I heard for the first time today. Rarely have I heard anything so funky. It's going into my collection. 5/5

So good. Funk is goood. Girks did not like and found lyrics annoyingly repetitive.

Rated 4/10

dosta naporno i izrazito repetitivno. "fank fank fank!" dobro, i?

Rated 8/10

Better than Coldplay

Funky indeed

Rated 10/10

Fun, funny, funky. I can hear G Funk and Outkast. This is brilliant.
Great Cover Art.

Many recordings from the 70s have a certain cheesyness about them, and this one is no exception. If you can overlook that, this album is really enjoyable. I mean, how bad can music with Bootsy Collins on bass be? Apart from the single releases, I recommend "Unfunky UFO".
