Don't Come Home A Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind) is an album that doesn't really do anything all that interesting but does the best it can in what it does do. It more or less has the sound that you would expect from a female-sang country album from the 60/70s so like a lot of those, it is a fairly basic album. The songs at least do everything well like having good vocals which is probably the highlight of the album as well as decent music and lyrics. It certainly is a very repetitive album as every song uses only a few formulas (and by a few, i mean 2 or 3) but the album was very short so it wasn't too big of an issue. This album isn't amazing but there is certainly worse out there.
Best Song: Don't Come Home A Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind)
Worst Song: Tomorrow Never Comes

Rated 6/10

Good old fashioned country, although this seems a bit staid considering what else was happening in 1967. Better than new fashioned country.

Rated 6/10

Not particularly my thing, but decent in terms of country music. 3/5

Rated 4/10

Not a fan of country but a good album if you are

Rated 6/10

Not a bad album all considered. Some pretty cutting edge themes and lyrics for the time (I'd imagine). Some WAP energy on some tracks.
Not the best, not horrible... Pretty good. 3/5

Reminds me of fallout, in a positive way.

Rated 6/10

Solides Country Album mit passender Frauen Stimme, die nach Land und Leute im Country der Mid60er klingt. Nett zu hören aber nicht spektakulär, „Tomorrow Never Come“.

Rated 8/10

Loretta Lynn is a national treasure. This was a fantastic album.

Rated 4/10

Sounds like a housewife in the 60s complaining about her husband in song.

Rated 6/10

This... didn't hit the spot for me - nice background music, but very un-memorable and samey. Husband definitely shouldn't be an alcoholic though... that sounds problematic.

Rated 8/10

A really solid showing from an all time great.

Rated 2/10

Country music is not an easy listen for me!!

The album is dated and just boring wirth lyrics that just dont relate anymore!

Rated 8/10

Loretta is incredible. The songs are so well crafted, the vocals pitch perfect, and the theming impeccable. I don't care for any of it, but it's masterful.

Rated 10/10

Every country cliche in the book and its glorious. Twangy guitars duelling, that lap steel slide sound, honky tonk barroom piano, close harmonies, simple cowboy chords and a basic oompa doompa bass, all performed and captured perfectly. It's an amazing collection snarky "I'm so goddamn sick of your bullshit" songs sung with an incredible combination pissed off verve and oh so sweet charm.

Rated 6/10

Straight up old school country ditties. Honestly I’m not hearing anything special in her voice and am hoping hard that Patsy Cline is on this list.

Wait! A Google search says there is no Patsy Cline album on this list?! TRAVESTY

Rated 6/10

No fist city, no the pill. Minus two stars.

Rated 4/10

She sure can sing, and I could enjoy this well enough for a song or two at a time. But a whole album, even a short one, drags on my ears' enjoyment.

Rated 6/10

Cant say i didnt have a fun time but still just 60s boring country music nothing too exciting

Rated 6/10

3s across the board. Johnny Cash vibes, good stuff!

Rated 2/10

Good country or bad country? Bad country. How does a 28 minute album manage to feel like an eternity? It's so, so dull.
