Not my thing at all.

How many thrash metal albums are on this list?
Not for me. Like they’ve just turned everything up to 11 in a bad way.

I enjoyed Angel of Death and Raining Blood, found the rest to be too similar for my ear.

Fuck the hell yeah!!
Headphones went up full blast when this started. Reign In Blood is one of the truly great metal albums of all time. It bookends with two classics in Angel Of Death and Raining Blood but there is absolutely no filler in between.
Through 430 albums I have truly enjoyed discovering so many new artists. It genuinely has changed forever how I listen to music. I grew up on metal though, it will always be my bread and butter and I bloody LOVE this album.

Oh fuck yeah hell yeah. I knew the breakdown from Raining Blood before I knew the song or artist.

Surprisingly fun work album. Great way to get through a tough day.

Speed and aggression. Some of the most iconic metals riffs. Super clean vocal too for all the shouting. 4/5.
PS
Blew my mind how super chill the lead singer is off stage.

I very disturbing point of inspiration, with the overall message exposing evils rather than supporting them. Through the discomfort is a very competantly-made, interesting and heavy thrash metal album. That moment of dissonant guitar whines that transitions between Postmortem and Raining Blood is *chefs kiss*." I'd like if there was a bit more variety in the middle of the album sonically, and would have preferred the concept to be more general and less specific, however those reservations aside i still left this album impressed. 4/5

I wasn't sold on my first listen of Reign In Blood and I ended up giving it a 2/5 due to it being a lot heavier (more guitar chugging, more double bass drumming, less melody) and darker (themes of Satan, murder, dismemberment, and Josef Mengele) than the other metal albums I've come to enjoy from the list.
Well, I've been revisiting Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Metallica a lot lately and figured I should give this one another go. Not sure if I'm just in a better mood for it, but I enjoyed it enough to come and edit my previous review!

That album is a lot. Raining blood is cool and everything, but most of it just makes me want to listen to other thrash metal.

If you're into Thrash Metal...I'm sure this is your jam. I am not that much however. 1.5/5

It's certainly intense.
The scream at the start of "Angel of Death" really set the tone, and it never slowed down or looked back from there.

Better than coldplay
