Pure classic. This album IS trip hop as far as I'm concerned. Sultry vocals and gorgeous instrumentals.

Very cliche 80s pop rock but it was fun at least with some catchy melodies.

I like their work on the No Man's Sky soundtrack but have never checked out their other material. This is pretty enjoyable instrumental prog. Lots of great textures.
Rated 8/10
Definitely feels a bit dated but it's still really fun. Breakbeat is just a great vibe.

I forgot about these guys. I enjoyed them back when this came out but haven't really kept up. It's a fun album. Nothing mind blowing but very solid.
Rated 6/10
Some solid guitar playing here. The vocals are a bit bland but the instrumental bits really shine.

It's Pink Floyd. Enough said.

Yet another classic of aughts-era indie rock. This album is so hype. Great guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. The whole package.
Rated 6/10
Very interesting. It feels very organic in spite of being electronic. Lots of bubbly textures. The vocals are probably the least interesting part to me but generally don't hurt the vibe too too much.
I've never actually listened to tally hall before because their fans are so damn annoying. Turns out the music is... also very annoying.
Rated 2/10
Very "stomp clap"-core. It's got some nice production but doesn't really resonate strongly with me. Feels like very much an album of its time.
An absolutely gorgeous synthesis of electronic, ambient, jazz, and classical. I was blown away by this album when it first came out and I still am today.
Rated 6/10
I think I have to be in a specific mood for symphonic metal but this is a pretty great example of it. The genre often comes across as cheesy which this rarely does. The vocals are very good as well.
Rated 10/10
Jeff rules. This album rules. Just straight bangers.
Rated 8/10
Positively insane to choose this over Enema or Jacket but I digress. This isn't my favorite Blink album but it's still pretty great. I Miss You is one of their best tracks.
Rated 10/10
I love jazz and I love ambient so this really hit for me. The extensive use of sax was great.
Rated 2/10
Look I've got some nostalgia for Amber like any self-respecting millennial but overall this music has NOT aged well. Very cringey.
Rated 10/10
Incredible album. It's simply gorgeous throughout with amazing lyricism and guitar work.
Rated 8/10
While I prefer their first 2 albums largely due to nostalgia and the goofier more carefree feel, I have to admit that this one shows some more mature songwriting.
Rated 8/10
Super unique. I love how many unique sounds he manages to get out of a cello. His voice is also very pretty. My one complaint is that it's a bit over the top with the effects. So much reverb.
