I don't think I recognize this artist or any of these tracks by title. So I'm basically going into this blind.

After a rather superficial reading of the Wikipedia page and top reviews on this site, I was expecting to hate this. But I'm quite enjoying it. It feels really ahead of its time. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed this was produced 30 years after its actual release date. This is both bizarre and great. I'm adding this to my list of albums to listen to again.

Da CapoLove

Rated 6/10

I've only listened to one other Love album, the other one on this list. I don't think I recognize any of these tracks, and I mostly don't recall listening to that other Love album. So I'm mostly going into this blind.

I've looked over my review for Forever Changes, and my take on that album mostly applies here. This band feels like it could be one of Spinal Tap's albums from the mid-sixties.

The track "Seven and Seven Is" gets points for sounding pretty proto-punk. But otherwise, this wasn't bad, though mostly just meh. I was tempted to give this a 4, but then I got a couple minutes into "Revelation." It's too bloated and dragged the overall score down.

LP1FKA twigs

Rated 8/10

When this album came out, it was hot for a bit, and I think I listened to it then. But I haven't listened to it since. I don't really recall much about it, so I'm not going into this blind, but maybe the more correct term might be amnesic.

So, yeah, I don't recall much of any of this album. This occupies an odd space for me. It's better than meh, but I also don't feel compelled to listen to it, which probably explains why I listened to it once long ago, and never again. I think I'll be kind and give it 4, and maybe I just need to give this some more listens to really get it, so I'll add it to my list of albums to listen to again.

I'm a fan of Neil, but I'm not familiar with this album in particular. I recognize a couple of these tracks by title. I'm looking forward to listening to this.

I like this, but it's by no means a great Neil Young album.

I don't dislike this, but I do question whether it truly belongs on this list. It's not bad, but by no means is it a "must listen."

I recognize a few of these tracks by title, but have never listened to this album start-to-finish.

This is pretty good. It feels a bit like Depeche Mode: electro-pop that feels like it's got a fair bit of rock influence. I'm not quite sure it rises to the level of adding it to my list of albums to listen to again though.

TrafalgarBee Gees

Rated 4/10

I'm not a fan of The Bee Gees. I recognize a few of these tracks by title, but have never listened to this album start-to-finish.

This is quite boring. I don't know why it would be included on this list. "Somebody Stop the Music" is right.

I'm not sure I recognize any of these tracks by title. I'm also mostly unaware of Roxy Music in general, so I'm mostly going into this blind.

I don't hate this, but the vocal style is a little off-putting. It's not bad, but I don't feel I'll be coming back to this again.

I generally don't like Kate Bush. I don't think I recognize any of these tracks by title, but it's entirely possible I do know some of these. Otherwise, I'm mostly going into this blind.

This was maybe not as terrible as I was expecting, but it's still not good. I just don't understand Kate Bush.

I've got this in my library, and I don't listen to it often enough. I will say, I enjoy "To Pimp A Butterfly" more than this, but this album is no slouch.

RocksAerosmith

Rated 8/10

I'm aware of this album, but I don't think I have never listened to it start-to-finish. I'm not a huge fan of Aerosmith, but this era has most of their best material.

This is honestly some solid rock. The shame of it is that basically the only way they were able to create this was through tons of drugs and alcohol, and thus was unsustainable. I wish they could continue to put out this sort of material, but alas. I should probably add this to my library and my list of albums to listen to again.

I recognize a few of these tracks by title. I didn't like them when they came out. I was recently listening to a podcast where a guest was saying this album was fantastic. So I'm going to try to approach this with a fresh perspective.

This is thoroughly meh. It's just squarely in that no man's land of not good enough to be great and not bad enough to be awful. Throw in a bit of boring, and you get this album.

Uh, what _is_ this? It sounds like they cranked the Cheese knob all the way up and then broke it off. I don't get this and am not enjoying it. I think I'm hating this more as it goes along. I feel like I should have taken the failure of youtube music to load the link automatically as a sign that this was going to be bad.

I'm aware of this band but I don't think I've ever listened to an album of theirs, and as a fan of post-rock, that seems like a miss on my part. Thank you to this site for making me listen to this. I'm very much looking forward to this listen.

Yeah, I dug this. I'll be adding it to my list of albums to listen to again.

DÍAEla Minus

Rated 6/10

I don't recognize this artist or any of these tracks by title, so I'm going into this blind.

This isn't bad, but it's also not really special either. I find myself wishing these tracks would shift and do something unexpected, but it just doesn't happen.

I don't recognize this artist nor any of the tracks by title, so I'm going into this blind.

I'm digging this. I can totally see how this would be considered an acquired taste, and lucky for me it's a taste I've acquired. I'll be adding this to my list of albums to listen to again, and will likely be checking out more by Lightning Bolt.

I don't think I recognize this artist or any of these tracks by name. So I'm going into this blind.

This isn't bad, and from time to time is quite interesting. But it feels like it's missing something to make it good or great. In addition, the album starts off stronger than it finishes, leaving me feeling more blah about it. I think I'll be kind and give it a 4, but that's just rounding error.

I'm not sure I recognize any of these tracks by title, but it's entirely possible I do know some of them. Otherwise, I've never listened to this album start-to-finish.

I'm not a fan of Van Morrison. I mostly just don't really see why people think he's so good. I don't get it.
