It's good. "Fair Warning" is a much better album though.

Not my favorite album of instrumental, non-dance electronic music, but it's good. Ahead of its time, for sure.

I definitely like it more than most Genesis I've heard, but rather than relistening to this, I feel more like going to the albums he made after this.
Rated 8/10
Honestly did not expect to like this as much as I did. Pretty wild style variations all around. Almost like a Ween album, but taking itself more seriously. Recommended.
Rated 8/10
The two records that followed ("Piece of Mind" and "Powerslave") are superior, but this is still great.
This is a tough one to rate. There are BRILLIANT moments here ("Of Wolf and Man"), but also a bunch of songs from the album "Load" that are better off forgotten.
It's not a bad listen, but at 2h15, it's too long and too filled with skippable songs. Your mileage may vary, but you'll probably end up going back to the original records anyway.
"Ride the Lightning" deserves a spot better than this.
Rated 8/10
Really good, but not quite the classic that people make it out to be.
Rated 10/10
The three albums that followed this are better, but that doesn't make this any less of a classic.
Rated 4/10
If you wanna listen to "classic rock" you can do so much better than this.
Rated 10/10
A damn fine album that has aged wonderfully. James Murphy takes his influences and makes something truly new and exciting.
Some tracks do become a bit repetitive, but it's not a big deal.
Rated 10/10
I don't need to relisten to this. It's almost the perfect Zeppelin album. A track or two might not work for you, but the rest more than makes up for it.
Rated 4/10
If you're gonna listen to a Hole album, make it "Live Through This". While that album sounds like good Nirvana, "Celebrity Skin" sounds like bad Smashing Pumpkins.
It picks up a bit halfway through, but really, you don't have to listen to this before you die.
Rated 8/10
This one never clicked that much for me. I prefer “Ritual de Lo Habitual”. But it’s still good.
Rated 4/10
Maybe this is amazing when you pay attention to the lyrics, but I did not.
As it stands, I straight up did not enjoy this listen. I didn't like the orchestral swells. The occasional "talk-singing" style didn't do it for me either.
I can usually appreciate some qualities of a record that isn't my cup of tea, but this one didn't do it for me.
Rated 4/10
Really not for me.
Rated 10/10
Really enjoyable listen, even if hip-hop is not your favorite genre.
This is it, the first album I couldn't actually listen to all the way through. Wayne Coyne's vocals are just grating. The constant synth farts in the background don't help either. I actively disliked this.
Rated 6/10
If somebody put this on, I wouldn't mind it. But I'd rather listen to something else. Perhaps if I paid attention to the lyrics I'd like it more.
Rated 10/10
A timeless and influential classic. As great today as it ever was.
Rated 4/10
I'd say this is background music for a family restaurant, but it DEMANDS your attention, to show you just how middle-of-the-road music can be.
Of course Hughie from "The Boys" loves this, it's as mundane as he is.
I really dislike it when people use ethnicity to describe music, but oh boy, this is as "white" as it gets.
Just listen to Elton John, that one's got a pulse.
