The harsh computer tones on There's Always Room On The Broom are really harsh. Would not recommend this album if you have a migraine. We Fenced Out Other Gardens With Bones Of Our Own is cool creepy chapel music. A real weird listen that I didn't quite grasp though Flow My Tears, the Spider Said I think is approaching something I could grasp. Too bad its at the end of the album.

A high water mark in human expression. Cool to think of the whole album as a show within a show that is a psychodelic circus vaudville band and also an indian raga band. The record even has this natural space that sounds like a hall. When I'm 64 is a personal favorite Beatles song.

6 songs in and I don't know what to make of this. A weird mix of potty humor, expiramentation, heavy sludge riffs, and punk sensibilities. I'll give it a three because I don't know what to do with this.

This is stadium hair metal, ready for grunge to come in and kill the ever loving shit out of it. Pour Some Sugar On Me is the soundtrack to every barn party with the increasingly aged and irrelevant. This album has had all its hard edges sanded over, and as a result lacks the bite of something trying to convey something. Its just selling a distorted guitar sound. It is just a commercial product at this point. And holy god does this album overstay its welcome.

Me and The Major is fun. Get Away From Me, I'm Dying and If You're Feeling Sinister is a good one two. In general this isn't really my thing, this mellow alternative. It's not off putting but I don't really feel like coming back to any of it with any regularity.

This is off to the right start. fun band, great lead. Never Recover has this weird juxtaposition of bubblegum pop and some tense chords. THIS IS THE LOVEFOOL BAND?!?! Damn what a delightful album.

Wow this is a sexy, glittering, ethereal album. The soundscapes are very open, eno inspired synth atmospheres.

Strange Feeling settles into a cool place, though I'm not really taken with Love From Room 109 At The Islander. Or really the rest of the album, either.

I am feeling Love And Anger. Heads We're Dancing is another bop. Kate Bush's voice is above all transcendent. Rockets Tail slaps. A second, more intentioned listening of this record is down right necessary

very familiar with this one. Taxman to Eleanor Rigby is a weird 1 2. Both songs are great, but do they hand off one to the other? no way. This album is so sonically lumpy. The Beatles show their expiramental chops on this record but doesn't feel like it comes together.

Yea, synth wave is having a bit of a moment right now.
In that context, this feels rather generic? But its not a really fair comparison to the mountain of this stuff that I have listened to in the last 2 years. My October Symphony is a visionary song.

I really enjoyed this. The front half was a barn burner and the back half really settled into a grove. There is an awkward transition point in the middle for a couple songs that I don't love but w/e.
