Oh yeah this opening track slaps. "The feeble imitations of starlight". Goddamn, this poetry is so rad! "I hunger for the taste but I can't see the orchard for the rain." "Before you became cotton in a blizzard". I'm 49 is a great song. Absolutely stellar album.

ok I'm listening. Sadly its not a thorough a bop record as i would have hoped but still pleasant.

oh golly, where are we going with these straight from a can horn samples? The cover art does a great job of predicting what is going on, just knockoff Iron Maiden. There is some cool guitar work in here but i just cant be bothered, because these songs are just booty cheeks.

This is pretty cool. Movie Star, All Falls Down, very solid songs in that wistful yearning pop sense. Drunk, Running is as serious as a heart attack, damn what a sad song.

A Favor House Atlantica is one of those great songs that clearly show off all of the excellent parts of Coheed. Broadly I think this is an album for and a band for huge fans. If you are in it, you are in it for the long haul and are in the deep end. The area for casuals like me is very small. When their songs hit for me, few bands scratch the same spot. But the lore, narrative, and textual density keep me in the small shallows.

YESSSSSS!!! THE LIST TAKETH AND THE LIST GIVETH!!! What an album full of taste. The first 4 tracks are all absolute bangers. The bass on Your Racist Friend is rad. Particle Man & We Want A Rock also incredible. Women & Men is an anthem.

That bass tone on Pillowhead is sick. Another Space song is cool. A very cool album, though maybe 20 years too late for me to find. super awesome though.
