Two reviews in a row where I think Meh is the right term.

This might be culturally significant (and probably should be on the list) but I just didn't care listening to it. I didn't care the first time I did when I received it in a VMP subscription, and I don't care this time. It's perfectly pleasant, but not something I like.

I usually rail against double albums as being bloated and that they would be better with some editing. And it's always true. Until you come across that exception that proves the rule. This isn't even a double album, it's a triple album! Of which I listened to the entire 50th anniversary version, which is over 4 hours long. And I would listen to more if given the opportunity.

Honestly, the review should be focused just on the actual double album, the Apple Jam, and the other items on the 50th anniversary are only for those who love it and already know what they're getting going forward.

But as someone who loves it and will gladly listen to all of it, including the different takes and experimentation, give me all.

The IdiotIggy Pop

Rated 8/10

The album that Iggy an Bowie collaborate on that eventually leads them to the greatness of Lust for Life. This one is still good, but it has moments of *huh?*

It's probably a 3.5 but I'll round up.

This is an amazing album and the mix of styles, especially reggae into the punk aesthetic really work. No wonder a 3rd wave ska guy like me likes this one so much, too.

Another really good album by Cohen with songs that are beautiful and haunting.

My kids, however, did not appreciate it. Anna said it was awful. I said it was pretty, she said, yeah, pretty awful.

I really enjoy listening to Madness and had a good time listening to this one, too, even if they did get a little weird at times.

It's a really good recording of The Who play pure rock.

It's better in the original in-and-out 6 song track list than the longer versions, IMO.

I didn't dislike this as much as the terrible live recording, but I didn't like a ton about this one, either. Older Dylan is better.

I just didn't really like this album much. It's like Morrissey was making a band impersonation of one of his own albums. He's always been pretentious, but this album has even more of that and on repeat.

I read someone else's review that said she doesn't sing as much as moan through scales. I can't agree with that more.

This is terrible.
