This is the first jam band style album that I've really liked. Something about the sci-fi elements really worked for me. It's weird, but weird in a way that I really enjoyed. And for it to be as long as it is, and keep my attention the whole time, that's saying quite a lot!

This is really not my genre. I just don't like it, at all. I thought, maybe, this one would be the album that changed my mind a little bit. It starts off strong, the first 3 or 4 songs are all really good.

Then it goes on for another hour of just repeating the same things over and over. And several songs talking about how much they love each other, which gets real annoying, real fast.

I can't see ever playing this one again, even if the first few songs were okay.

This is really bad. It's a terrible genre to start with and it's a bad example of this terrible genre.

There is no need to throw fuck around as many times as he does. I curse a lot, and even I thought it was excessive.

I guess I can sort of see why it was included in this list from a historical perspective, but it's not good, I don't want to listen to it, and I can't imagine I'll ever listen to it again.

I didn't like the first Kate Bush album we had to listen to, and I like this one less. Like a lot less. This annoyed the crap out of me. Her voice is just so annoying.

If you told me this album was released in the 70s, it would probably make sense. And I would probably know more of the songs as my parents would've listened to this in the car any that sort of thing.

But as an album released in the 90s? I don't quite get it.

That said, I could easily put this on at a party and no one would be offended. But I don't think anyone would be listening, either.

I did like some of the guitar work. So it has that going for it.

★David Bowie

Rated 10/10

This is probably my favorite Bowie album outside of the Ziggy era.

It's such a haunting album, especially knowing now what he was going through while writing and recording.

Vol 4Black Sabbath

Rated 8/10

While not my favorite Sabbath album it’s still good. And this is the type of metal I like, blues based with sludgy guitars. It’s good, but it’s not quite great.

PlayMoby

Rated 8/10

This is a very good album that I find my attention drifting just slightly towards the end. Maybe just a touch too long. But I still like it.

This is one strange album. I didn't hate it, though. Actually I kinda liked it. I maybe liked it a bunch.

Lots of covers, which was surprising. Relax is great. Sorta sounds like a soundtrack to an 80s movie, and this album is VERY 80s.

Didn't hate it, I guess. But didn't like it much, either. A little haunting that so much of the album is about dying young because of his lifestyle and then he died young, because of his lifestyle.

I can't imagine listening to it again anytime soon, but it wasn't bad.

EVOLSonic Youth

Rated 8/10

I don't like this as much as their best records, but it's a solid one. I like Sonic Youth.
