From the funky starting track down to the soulful piano ballad, it's a bizarre and disjointed album, the different songs are decent if not only memorable because of how strange they are in the context of the rest of the album

An okay listen, save for a mite of whiplash

Whatever the magic is, I don't fully comprehend, but it's an interesting jazz album and it does go places

They're good at what they do, I think, I'd just prefer they be good at it somewhere else so that I can listen to something more fresh and one-of-a-kind

Still, it's easy to get engrossed in a lengthy jam session, and the one offered is pretty good, even if it forces itself to sit in the background a little

It's Our House and a sea of bland, indistinguishable, mildly-fun Ska-Pop music tracks, it's fine for hearing but it's not particularly special

If there really must be no Breakfast in America, this will do. Not quite the same single-highs, but the music sounds sweet and satisfying, sort of a progressive soft-rock album. The Billy Joel comparisons feel right, this album is much less Yes and much more "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant"

I welcome thee, "Dinner in Great Britain"!!

Constantly full of life, exciting and energizing, and the hits feel even better with the rest of the album surrounding them. It's an uplifter

I'm not sure exactly what narrow details differentiate this album from hardcore punk, but whatever those differences are, they must be the thing that tickles my fancy, 'cause I'm into this, rough, edgy, and fun

Pretty fun, though the slower moments don't carry the same spirit as the rest, for me at least

It's got a soft, comfortable sound to it... listen to a song or two and it's pretty nice, though the full album may get a little narrow in its vision. It's still pretty, though

Good for a listen, bonus points for basically giving birth to one of the most critically hated musical styles of all time, that's some funny stuff, Faith

It's a good-sounding album and a pleasure to hear, though half of the time when I start getting into it, whatever currently-playing song descends into just repeating the same line over and over, that's fine, but the tracks end up falling into that same direction so often that it starts to make you ask, "is that where the creativity stopped?"

I get that it's hard but you've gotta do a little more heavy lifting here, album... It's a fun listen, though, it's worth hearing, it's just holding itself back a little

It's not Soul Mining but it's fun, missing the exciting time-tested singles, overall a more consistent sound, if not as pretty to listen to

Perfectly fine, was never that compelled by it, mostly just leading into confusion when I saw the overwhelming love for it. Sounds older than it is, has a decent assortment of songs, it's alright for a listen

Country in a very not-overwhelmingly-country way, a satisfying collection of soft, rocky country songs, perhaps fit for when your horse is at a notch below a trot. Pleasant, though. The title is the most aggressively-country thing about it

Sort of a sludgy mush mixture of jazz sounds in a cauldron, being stirred by a powered mixer. Little blurry images of saxophone melodies flow by like a dream, while the drums settle on sounding soft but firm, a sort of texture like mashed potatoes. It kind of feels like they're constantly stuck in the middle of a drumroll and they can't get out. Like the intensity of a slow, progressively building jazz song reaching a chaotic fanfarous last minute or so, except that intensity is just this entire album

A jazz album, inspired by the stylings of hardcore punk... but I'm over 800 albums in and really I'd take this for the day over a normal jazz album or a normal hardcore punk album. It's different. It's fresh. Nobody appreciates a bitter salad more than the person who's only eaten candy for a year (though I cannot confirm this from experience)

It's refreshing, I think

A cover album that makes you feel covered - pure comfort, an unprecedented level of sweetness, and nothing you'd expect when you think of Willie Nelson

It's a lovely night to look out at the stars

It may be No-kay Computer but it's still an ear-pleaser to me, lyrically sort of just filling the time, decent but not memorable, but with an easily likeable sound along with some listener bias towards the britpop sound, it's not hard to appreciate

A notable, sweet-sounding entry into the 2000s dreamy autumnal folk wave, definitely right up my alley, and definitely a wave with good things to offer, certainly not the worst of 21st-century music trends, and a lot of it no doubt takes inspiration from this album

Music for running carefree through the forests and being one with nature

An early trek into the silky-smooth commercial and *poppy* synthpop that the '80s has an abundance to offer, and it's a decently pleasant start full of pretty likeable music
