The Ocean was great and the other songs weren’t terrible, but I’m going to give it a 3 because I can’t see myself going out of my way to listen to this again

I’m a bit conflicted on this one but I’m feeling generous today so it’s a low four. There’s a lot here I do like but at times it’s a bit meandering and overly long. Really liked the final track; it was atmospheric.
Rated 6/10
It started off strong but got repetitive. The songs tend to cover the same subject matter in the exact same way, and, with the way women are brought up especially, it drags. Some tracks feel way too long. That said, they are good rappers and the instrumentals aren’t bad
Rated 6/10
Honestly a bit disappointed by this one. Based on their reputation, I expected this to be a bit punchier but I found it lacking in energy and repetitive.
Did find out where the AO advert song came from. Thought it was original for the company. Companies are never original.

Instruments are decent, his voice is okay on the couple tracks he’s not rasping and shrieking
Rated 4/10
I liked the ones where he wasn’t singing.

Helped me calm down after the hell of attempting to get Charli XCX tickets. They weren’t even for me! Another chill album with Stan Getz.

Things that are sprung on me whilst I am already having a devastating Springsteen phase.
Rated 8/10
Giving this a low four. I wish it was bit punchier but there’s a lot I like here, especially the guitar tones on the second side.
Rated 6/10
If you told someone to drink every time there was a “wooOOO” on this album, you could be arrested for murder.
This album is good when you’re more focused on the instruments than the singer, but it’s hard to tune the vocals out when they’re breaking the microphone every ten seconds. Less wooing and better recording equipment probably would make this quite a good album, but I am experiencing it like this.
My biggest revelation listening to this was who made the original song that would be remade for LV adverts. It’s quite catchy actually and better than the sanitised modern version.
Rated 6/10
Am I being edged? Every time I feel the songs are going to do something big they start going for it and stop, never reaching the climax. I liked some elements of this, but was often left feeling unsatisfied.
Rated 8/10
Lots of good energy on this. I feel like it does fall off a bit at the end and the final track was a bit… Poor. Maps, iconic as it is, does feel really out of place on this album. Really enjoyed the loud songs though.
Rated 6/10
Some good moments on here but I’m not fully on the Fiona Apple train yet. This is the first album I’ve heard by her, and the first time I’ve properly heard any of her songs in full.
Rated 6/10
Sweet but repetitive
Definitely a switch after having just finished a two hour long drum and bass album, although they were only released a couple years apart.
I’ve never heard of this band before but I really enjoyed it. Lots of energy. I do think they could’ve cut this album slightly shorter as even with all that energy it gets a bit repetitive and would ride its high better if shorter.
Rated 6/10
This does sound like something that would be iconic for its genre, although I am not a drum and bass person at all. My biggest issue with this album, like most people, is its length, which I don’t think it warrants. I also got fed up with the repetitive structure of songs that would seem like they ended, and then continue with a few minutes of a different beat. That said, this isn’t the worst thing I’ve had to listen to on here. It’s just not something I’d realistically go back to.

Looked up Let It Grow to see if it was related to the Lorax
Rated 8/10
I like this so much more than the other album I got by them. Everything sounds a lot clearer on this one (yes I listened to them with the same exact things, I think it might be a mixing thing I didn’t agree with). It’s really fun, although it does touch on some heavier subjects at times. I was dreading this one because I didn’t like the other one I got, but this has changed my opinion on them. I can see why people love them now.

Really wish I could give this one a 3.5. I liked some songs on here but some weren’t my style. Don’t really like the ones where that whiny voice is on it. Last few tracks were great.
Simple and sweet. All three sound great. The album cover is cute but I wish it was centred slightly differently.
Last two tracks have become quite sad with Dolly’s passing, but this was maybe the best thing for a send off. It didn’t feel real when I saw the news. She was sort of how some people saw the queen of England in my head; that she’d just be around forever. Rest in peace <3
