Ok so true story: at my high school prom the DJ played "Rock Your Body" and all the kids booed him so badly that he was bullied into changing the song

This album can be compared to a cracker: I can eat it, but it's kind of bland

I know it doesn't seem like much, but albums like this make me appreciate my high school Spanish teacher immensely. Even if I could only understand a quarter of what the lyrics were saying, it's all because of my former teacher. Every beautiful moment I had where I understood this wonderful language was because of her.

And the album was a banger. Great Latin beats.

A lot like Green Onions, but if pretty much just the first song was cool. And it was, don't get me wrong. It felt like visiting a cool rustic chicken shack. The other songs were just boring though. I lost interest. Nice organ and sax. And don't forget the dog.

If the album was just 'OK', I would have given this a 3. Then 'Vikram the Vampire' came along. Evil Vikram made me reconsider.

Oh, how I wanted to love the idea of androgynous, gender-bending punk rockers. It got good ratings and it's sung by the Ghost of Christmas Past from Scrooged, so I thought it sounded solid enough. I got a little too excited. It's pretty generic. The songs pretty much sound like each other, and the production is nothing impressive. Something about his voice is really bland. I can't complain too much with rock music that follows a working formula, but I will complain that it doesn't have much creativity.

"I don't really miss God but I sure miss Santa Claus."

Basically how I've felt for a long time now but I've been unable to put it in words
