Thoughts:
- I got "Get Behind Me Satan" pretty early in the project, and was surprised to see it on the list. This one, however, is the White Stripes album that definitely deserves it's place.
- Seven Nation Army is iconic, but I forgot how good the rest of this album is!
- I'm figuring out that I don't really like straight up blues music (it mostly just feels boring to me), I like stuff that is blues-adjacent or has elements of blues. Maybe that'll make more sense as I get further into the list :)

Favorite track(s): Seven Nation Army, Ball and Biscuit

Thoughts:
- Third Bob Dylan album and I'm not even 100 days in! Not really complaining though, I've already found I'm a bigger fan than I thought I was.
- I think overall this is my least favorite of the three, but it's still good. Most of the songs just don't quite reach the level of the excellent first and last tracks.
- Some of the harmonica parts did sound grating in my headphones... I had to turn down the volume a few times ๐Ÿ™ƒ
- I did really like the title track though; laughed at the slide whistle lmao.

Favorite track(s): Like a Rolling Stone, Desolation Row

Thoughts:
- I know of a couple of K.D. Lang's songs, but haven't listened to an album before, so I didn't expect this would be country!
- I love her voice and delivery, but the songs themselves feel like pretty generic "classic country." That's still better than current country, but not really something I'll listen to much.

Thoughts:
- I don't really think I'm a Michael Jackson "fan," but there's no denying this is a great album. (I appreciate the reminder to listen to the title track during spooky season, too.)
- I don't think it's flawless though - "The Girl is Mine" is incredibly lame to me. I can't get past the unironic use of the word "doggone." ๐Ÿ˜‚ That had to be weird even in 1982 right?
- The 2 non-singles are fine I guess, but that still leaves 6 massive hits, so I can't give it less than 4 stars.

Favorite track(s): Billie Jean, Thriller

Least favorite: The Girl is Mine

Thoughts:
- I might as well have a copy and paste for every jazz (or standards) album that comes up: "Good for background music, but not really my thing. I respect the talent but I probably won't come back to it..."
- I'm really in a rut of 3s right now.

Thoughts:
- I don't think this kind of experimental rock will ever be for me, unfortunately.
- I like the backwards part of "Oh Yeah"
- There were parts of "Halleluhwah" that I really liked, but there were also 5 minute stretches that I completely zoned out through...
- Aumgn could work as pretty cool ambient noise for a haunted house, but I can't really see it as music ๐Ÿ˜…

Favorite track(s): "Mushroom" feels the most like an actual song.

Thoughts:
- I think Sympathy For The Devil is the only song I know here, and I like it a lot...
- Unfortunately there's not much else here that really interested me. The second track was good, but then it pretty much went downhill.
- This would be the first full Rolling Stones album I've listened to, and so far I don't think I've missed out by not knowing anything but the greatest hits.

Favorite track(s): Sympathy For The Devil

Thoughts:
- It was fine, inoffensive; definitely not a must-listen in any way.

Favorite track(s): Mr. Webster (has kind of a Simon & Garfunkel vibe)

Least favorite: Whatever "Zilch" was...

Thoughts:
- Oh hey, I actually know "Take Five"! I didn't expect to recognize anything here :)
- I don't think I'll ever be a big listener of instrumental albums (I just connect to lyrics / vocals more than anything else), but I did enjoy this. Don't really see myself coming back to it, but I definitely get why it's here.

Thoughts:
- I definitely had a nu-metal phase when I was maybe 11 or 12; probably because I wanted the boys in my class to think I was cool, lol. The Korn album I had at the time was "Issues" though. I couldn't tell you if it holds up better, because I haven't listened to it since then.
- I was actually having a good time for the first few tracks (Freak On A Leash basically sounds like a parody of itself, but that's fun at least). However, I think 3-4 Korn songs at a time is all I can handle.
- Worst of all is when Fred Durst shows up so they can call each other gay for 5 minutes because it's 1998 ๐Ÿ™„
- It doesn't really get much better after that point.

Thoughts:
- This one is an immediate 5 for me, in large part due to nostalgia. . . It's my dad's favourite album, and one I heard hundreds of times growing up. I was woken up to it blasting throughout the house many times when I slept in too late, and even that didn't make me dislike it ๐Ÿ˜‚
- Hadn't really noticed before, but I kind of laughed at the swing between the normal folk / rock instrumentation of most of the songs, and the dramatic orchestration of "A Man Needs a Maid" and "There's a World."
- There's really not a song here I don't love; it's probably my personal favourite that's come up so far in the project.

Thoughts:
- This is the first Genesis album I've listened to, and it was not what I expected!
- I've listened twice all the way through now and I'm still not entirely sure how much I like it. Weird and confusing always beats boring though.
- I don't usually don't look into the albums much other than the Wikipedia blurb, but "The Battle of Epping Forest" was so weird I had to go to the Genius page. It helped slightly ๐Ÿ˜…
- The long songs were at least interesting enough to keep me from zoning out. I'm intrigued to actually listen to more Genesis now.

Thoughts:
- This was nice enough to listen to; great vocals of course, but didn't really do anything for me.
- I'd put it in the category of pleasant background music. Fine, but don't really see why it's in the book.

Thoughts:
- The Eagles are definitely a "singles" band for me. My mom had a greatest hits album when I was growing up, so listening to this I knew every word of the 3 singles, but had no memory of the other songs.
- I still love the song Hotel California; I don't care what anyone says, I even like the long intro and outro. I do love weird, vague lyrics though!
- Thought this might be a 5 at first, but the non-singles are mostly just "fine" to me.

Favorite track(s): Hotel California, New Kid in Town

Familiar with the artist? I might know 1 or 2 songs? Nothing from this album though.

Thoughts:
- I enjoyed this more as it went on (and more on second listen than the first). The first half is fine, but for me it picks up at "My October Symphony" (appropriately for today).
- From looking at some reviews, it seems like their other albums are closer in vibes to "So Hard," so I'm looking forward to those.

Thoughts:
- I really can't understand how some of these albums could be a "must listen" for anyone. There's nothing particularly bad about this one (maybe a few lyrics), but nothing about it was interesting or memorable either.

Thoughts:
- I actually only know a lot of these songs from covers, which I'm glad to fix now.
- Working Class Hero is such a great song. I almost said Lennon was ahead of his time, but really I guess things are just depressingly the same 55 years later.

Favorite track(s): Working Class Hero, God

Thoughts:
- I'm still not a big fan of live albums; this sounds great for a recording from 1957 though.
- Amazing voice. The songs themselves aren't really interesting to me, but she makes them so.

Favorite track(s): Honeysuckle Rose, Embraceable You (Apparently I listened to an expanded version!)

Thoughts:
- Haven't listened to a full Black Sabbath album yet, just know a few hits.
- I wouldn't say metal is a favorite genre of mine, but I definitely see why this is in the book.
- I appreciate there's some variety here - the songs don't all sound the same which can be an issue for me sometimes with heavier music.

Favorite track(s): Changes

Thoughts:
- I know the point here is to discover albums I haven't heard yet, but I'm still relieved when the generator gives me something I already know I like.
- Have listened to this a few times, mainly for the song Red Eyes, which I still think is the best here.
- Best places to listen to this would be either in front of a campfire, or driving at night. High in my kitchen was a good substitute though.
- I can't give it a 5 because I do think a lot of the songs go on too long, but I'll definitely be listening to it again.

Favorite track(s): Red Eyes; In Reverse
