Was really good for my squats but otherwise nothing really caught me. This would blow my balls off if I listened to it on release but unfortunately it's older than both of my parents and I was thus unable to give it a go in 1970.

This band only has 1510 monthly listeners on Spotify for a reason. They do so much and achieve so little.

The comically low listener count got me thinking. My high school had about 1600 students, which means that if some kids held an assembly, playing tunes, they'd have more views than these guys. A busker on a busy street would also get more listeners. I'm sorry to bully The Icarus Line, but it's just the fact that they're on THIS LIST that really gets me. A question came over me: about how many listeners are from this website? There are 61500 active projects at the time of writing. I don't know if "active" means that the account has been used in the last week (or something like that), or if it just exists at all, but for the sake of argument I'll assume the former. The likelihood of getting any one album is about 30/1089, ignoring the days where someone famous dies. (30/1089)6150≈1694 users receiving any given album per month. Let's assume half of the site uses Spotify. That makes 847 Spotify listeners that are coming from the generator... more than half of the band's listeners. Gee golly.

It's fine. Weird Al used one of these songs in a polka and that was the only time the music interested me.

These guys take themselves too seriously. None of these long-ass songs have long song vibes. It is fire though

It amazes me that Elvis is still popular. He's alright, but it's the 21st century... why is he 336th on Spotify?

None of the songs stuck out to me.

Too dissonant for me. This is really "landfill indie" in a unique way - you could tell me the instruments Sebadoh used were made with recycled materials and I would believe you.

Big Dyl finally locked in with this album and actually made it good. It's much more "rocky" than the other album of his I got - great for me!

I'm going honky tonk mode. Ask me if I care (I don't)

(Also, top reviewer, a honky tonk is a type of piano where there are tacks inserted into the hammers, or a bar where country music is played. Hope this helps!)

Rated 4/10

Something bothers me about this album. It's too simple, but not in a perfect or passionate way... more out of laziness, like they had to write all the songs in a weekend.
