Rated 6/10
*The album got better as it went along- thought the back half had some great tracks.
*A lot of songs seemed to have a pretty slow temp that almost dragged
*The orchestra was a cool feature.

*This is a great album. Joplin's voice is iconic, but can be a little grating at times.
Rated 8/10
*Cool lo-fi beats in several songs
*Unique approach with the sampling, but a cool sound
Rated 8/10
*Interesting take on the covers with the sitar
*No question about great musicality, just don't know how much I would re-listen to this, but it was cool to be exposed to
Rated 8/10
Fun mix of jazz and rock
Rated 8/10
Great album- Adele's voice is incredible and Hello is awesome.
Not quite as solid of an album as 21
Rated 8/10
*Good soulful sound to her voice
*Definitely sounds like a more contemporary Blue Note album
*Too many slower/mid tempo songs to make a full 5, but a great album
Rated 6/10
*I respect that this was iconic at the time it came out and that its the only Joy Division sound with Curtis' vocals- but I just find him brooding without a true feeling of moody or mellow vibes.
*This is not bad to listen to, it just doesn't make me feel as amazing as I feel it should based on the popularity of the album and its cover artwork. My punk preference is 80's and 90's punk, and not much post-vibes.
*Glad I can say I've actually listened to this to maintain my "just ok" thoughts about it.
Rated 6/10
*I liked this more than I thought I would
*Some songs were too mid-slow tempo but the hits were great
Rated 4/10
*Atmospheric and Ephemeral
*Good background music but not much more than that
Rated 6/10
*Wish I could give this a 3.5
*She has a great voice but I wish more tracks stayed a little faster with the temp and beat behind it...the first track is great and I was hoping for more like that
*Probably would appreciate this more after multiple listens
Rated 8/10
*Cool guitar tone and intriguing lyrics
*Great example of punk from this era
*Great sounding band but got a little similar sounding over the course of the whole album.
*I didn't realize how much Dropkick Murphys borrowed from these guys a decade earlier.
*Fairytale of NY continues to be such an interesting song.
Rated 6/10
*Young's voice on the first few tracks is grating but it gets better across the album. The harmony vocals are a high point of the album.
*Southern Man is a great track
*This is good musicianship but doesn't excite me enough to give more than a 3.
Rated 8/10
*Interesting concept and the band with the bongos sounded tight
Rated 6/10
*Like the use of jazz organ and it has some moments with some funky riffs
*Just too slow/mid tempo for me to truly enjoy all the way through
Rated 6/10
Solid soul album but some of the lost love stuff is too much. The keyboard/saxophone moments are great.
*Awesome hip hop beats with poignant lyrics
*Bring the Noise is an all time song
*Some of the beats/tracks loop a little long which can get repetitive, but overall, awesome album!
*This album is some of the craziest stuff I've ever heard, but it intrigues me to listen more times to understand it better.
Rated 6/10
*Ephemeral
*Some songs were just drawn out too long
*cool effects with new wave feel
