*All over the place with genres but nothing bad about the musicianship

*All over the place with genres but nothing bad about the musicianship
Rated 6/10
*Ok musically but some of the slow tempos and long run times made it drag at times
Rated 8/10
*I love everything about this- very funky instrumental from the '60s.
*Heard Green Onions so many times but didn't realize its name or band
*Solid guitar and Hammond organ work
Rated 8/10
*Solid punk/metal/thrash album
*A little too on the metal side for me to give it a 5
Rated 6/10
*Brazilian psych-rock with Beatles influences
Rated 6/10
*Quality singer songwriting but goes too deep and slow at times.
*No questions its good musically, just doesn't excite me too much
*Wes' bass is great and the guitar tone is cool and unique
*These lyrics do NOT stand up 26 years later and seem very cheesy....its hard to believe albums like these were "tough".
*Their first albums were great and notable entries into rap/rock/nu-metal...but this album jumps the shark and they start to become a meme of themselves. My Way and Rollin' are great singles, but not nearly as strong as the ones from earlier albums.
Rated 6/10
*I had high expectations for this because I had heard of it, knew Mr. Blue Sky, but never dived deeper.
*After fighting through its bloated 70 minute run time, I hear some Beatles inspiration and realize that I would have been on the side of the punk movement fighting against this maximalist music of the times.
*Might be the most overrated album I've heard so far in this project
Rated 6/10
*Unique sound but too ephemeral and dance/trance at times
Rated 10/10
*Side A is phenomenal
*Even the album tracks have varied instrumentation, tempo, feel, etc. Each song uses her voice differently as a showcase of her abilities.
*Finishing with Someone like you is a great choice
Rated 6/10
*This is the second PJ Harvey album I've listened to on this list and this one, her debut, is much better to me than the other one.
*I would still pick to listen to Jagged Little Pill over this
Rated 8/10
*Great hit songs but the length makes it a little daunting to listen to with some filler
*The piano/synth work is top notch
Rated 8/10
*Cool instrumentation- great percussion, saxophone, guitar
*Nice mix of long form jazz with shorter songs
Rated 6/10
*Take me out got overplayed but it is still a pretty good song
*I heard lots of Beatles sounds and other nods to UK artists of the past
Rated 6/10
*The Dead sound better with live performances that can expand each track compared to limited length studio album versions of their songs.
Rated 6/10
*Nice voice and cool varied songs with a varied group of instruments
*Tall in the Saddle is a great song
Rated 8/10
*Very impressed by ZZ Top on this list so far- this is the second album I'm rating
*Solid blues rock
Rated 8/10
*I went into this hating EDM and ready to rate it low, but it won me over with some of its infectious beats
*I still don't get listening to EDM in a similar way to other genres, but this stuff is danceable in the club for sure
Rated 6/10
*Nice musicianship but its gets a little TOO heavy and serious over the course of the album
Rated 10/10
*I still love Giant Steps a little more, but this is an iconic Coltrane album and one of the best jazz albums ever
