Another classic debut

This debut is when AF first caught my attention. It's still their best.

It's funny that most of the poor reviews here aren't even about the album. They are about CeeLo's height, weight, personality, other projects, it completely other people.

The album is great. It's super well produced. It's full of excellent guest performances. CeeLo is on his game.

Wow, I forgot how much Chris Martin was trying to channel/emulate Jeff Buckley on Sunday like Shiver. And he pulls it off. He found his own voice on later albums, but it's fun to re-hear this.

Its mind boggling how many incredible albums, from so many different genres, came out in the early 90s. This one is no exception. Perfect vibe.

Man, i really hated this out of the gate. But it grew on me by mid-listen. He's got a good sense of humor and something to say.

80s classics. But I was never a huge fan. Too serious, too self-important.

It's a classic Christmas album. If I have to listen to Christmas music, this is the album I'd pick. But I don't have to listen to Christmas music and I don't want to.

I learned something. I thought that UB40 was strictly a cover band. All of their hits are covers. Boy this album is all originals and it's so much better! Why didn't they stick with originals?
