My edition of the book says this is one of the 'greatest live albums'. Really? It's ok, don't get me wrong, but... really?

Pretty alright and melancholic, but nothing that stood further out to me.

It's an oldie but a moldie.

Ehh. This did not really tickle anything within me. It's fine and tolerable to listen to.

NOW THIS IS SOME GOOD COUNTRY YEEHAW
Rated 8/10
Pretty good, it's nice and relaxing to listen to. Well produced too.

That's a pretty album cover. If only the font didn't gouge my eyes out.
Anyway, in terms of music, I like the whole album being full of murder ballads. Means there's a consistent theme. Cave's vocals are one-note, but including PJ Harvey scores some points from me. It's what folk says on the tin: tell a story while trying not to rock the boat too much musically.

Joan's a pretty good vocalist and songwriter. But Joan's not breaking any new ground.

Pretty good! Loving the riffs here. It's a shame about Ray, though.
Hmm. I think this is my least favourite Sly album-- it's still got some funky goodness, but I felt like this was a bit of a letdown.

Y'know, I'll give it to them - the indian elements in here do make it stand out a bit more than the umpteenth British band.
Rated 4/10
It's pop. That's all. Although I am incredibly discomfited by the album cover.

I shivered in fear at the thought of a post-punk album, but this was alright. Vocals are ehh though.
Rated 10/10
Not just an album that is carried only by the big hits. It's genuinely majestic, beautiful, and lyrically complex. Loved it.
Rated 6/10
Pretty serviceable Britpop.
Rated 8/10
Fun and upbeat, and amplified by the fact that it was played in the greatest country in the world. Sugoi desu neeee.
Rated 2/10
LOUD. NOISES. AGH.
Rated 4/10
I'm getting bummed just listening to this. The discordant, warbling vocals are not my jam at all.
Rated 4/10
Way more exciting album title than what it delivers on. I've been barely taken apart. Maybe my sleeve has been picked apart a little, but, that's it. Boring R&B nonsense.

Those are some pretty sick solo's ngl
