Not completely without merit but its not very pleasant unlike most of The Velvet Underground's fantastic output

I am a sinner. Who's im probably gonna sin again. Lord forgive me. Lord forgive me. Things I don't understand
Rated 6/10
Whole thing is alright but Let's Stay Together is the obvious and only highlight to it
Rated 6/10
Many of the songs that aren't singles are BAD, and some of the singles are, but it has a couple alltime fantastic songs in Style and Blank Space. Some of the lesser known ones have decent parts like Clean, but overall the good just barely edges out the dredge on this album.
Rated 10/10
It's songs of Love and Hate, not Songs of Love, Songs of Hate. And its incredible
Rated 6/10
Actually got pretty interesting at the end, very unexpected. Pleasant and a little eerie.
Rated 6/10
One of their most consistent and best albums. Only weak songs are Land Ho! and Ship of Fools which is more middling. It recovers nicely with The Spy which is a neat more relaxed song as is Indian Summer, one of the best on the album. It's very varied for a Doors album which I appreciate. Waiting For The Sun is probably their best pure rock song
Rated 10/10
Magical album. Sugar Spun Sister is both a goofy lighthearted song and one of the most beautiful things ever
Rated 2/10
Music from a "fancy" store my mom would've taken me to as a kid once and then never again. Schmaltzy, bad, stomp clapy, and far too simple. Poughkeepsie and the 11 songs after are especially rough. The only alright song in that stretch is Rejoicing in the Hands and kinda Insect Eyes
Rated 6/10
His voice is a little too 90s rock for me, kind of reminds me of some of the OK but not special music coming around that time, a little goofy and sarcastic. Fuzzy is a masterpiece though. I did also like the more alt-country song like Soft Wolf Tread or The Shining Hour, and much of the second half of the album.
It's kinda interesting how he sings here, almost a little detached but with a lot of effort at the same time. Sort of becomes less cool as it goes on, though the heavily Dylan inspired Home is Anywhere You Hang Your Head and I Want You in the middle are highlights. I liked Battered Old Bird at first but he just goes a little too far with it and it gets a bit too unrestrained.
Rated 8/10
Another earthshaking incredible album from Mr. Smith. Maybe drags a bit with Stupidity Tries or Happiness/The Gondola Man where the songs are a bit too light. Other than that, what an elite incredible album. WOW. God rest his soul man. Bye
Rated 8/10
Its pretty good I like Black

Wow. Those last 2 tracks are killer
Rated 10/10
Simply one of the best albums ever. So emotional, and it rocks too
Really varied, interesting and weird album. I love how Josh Homme sounds on this
Rated 8/10
A little kooky but surprisingly really good, especially as I wasn't wowed by the first Bob Marley album I listened to. Only thing I didn't care for was the closer which was a bit corny which the album had mostly avoided by that point
Rated 4/10
Starts off fine, good even. Gradually it runs out of ideas and becomes mostly boring and samey (though there are some alright moments later on like parts of Chemistry Class)
Rated 8/10
Really good soul album. First song is clearly the best but the whole album is very solid.
Rated 6/10
Very mixed, I like the sort of country sound I hear on songs like Rebel Music and songs like Revolution, it just gets to be a bit too eccentric for me in a bad way on some songs. Never cared for No Woman No Cry, to simple for me.
