I'm vaguely aware of this artist, but don't recognize any of these tracks by title. So I'm mostly going into this blind.

This is just boring. I'm not sure what other people are seeing in this album. It looks like this gets the genre Shoegaze applied to it, but that doesn't seem right. It's much more electronic than shoegaze.

The artist's name is vaguely familiar but I'm not recognizing anything else. So I'm basically going into this blind.

This is just weird. And I've been known to enjoy some weird music, but I don't think I enjoy this. One nice thing I can say about this: it really sounds ahead of its time. I'm glad I listened to this, but I don't think I need to hear it again.

I'm aware of this album, and I think I recognize a few of these tracks by title, but I've never listened to this album start-to-finish.

The songs aren't terrible, but the production feels really cheesy. It kind of feels like this would greatly benefit from just a fresh re-recording.

I'm not sure I recognize this artist or any of these tracks by title, so I'm mostly going into this blind.

This just isn't grabbing me. It's strange in a way that doesn't make me want to listen to it again to dig deeper into it.

I don't think I recognize this artist or any of the tracks by title. So I'm going into this blind.

I'm kind of enjoying this, and I'm not sure how to rate it though. On the one hand, it's a lot like other British Punk of this era, but on the other hand, I wasn't aware of this group at all, so there's at least some newness to it. It's like they're an answer to the question: "What if the Sex Pistols were just better?" I think I'll add it to my list of albums to listen to again, though.

I'm not sure if I recognize any of these track by title. I sort of know what to expect from Suzanne Vega, but I'm mostly going into this blind.

This wasn't bad, but just sort of meh and boring.

YES.

I don't listen to this album often enough, thanks for reminding me to listen to it today. It's not better than Purple Rain, but still 5 stars.

I'm familiar with this album, and have even performed two of the tracks in bands. I should probably add this to my library.

Yup, this is great. I'm adding it to my library and my list of albums to listen to again.

I'm aware of this album, but basically only recognize the title track. Other than that, I've never listened to this album start-to-finish.

Yeah, just kind of meh. Don't get me wrong, I respect Alice Cooper, but his music is frequently more style than substance.

I've had a few days in a row where this site has had me listening to albums I either already loved or was aware of and enjoyed. So, I suppose my luck was bound to run out. I don't like The Cure, and expect to greatly dislike this album.

I didn't recognize any of these tracks, and found them all quite boring.

I'm reasonably certain I've listened to this before, but it's definitely been a long time since the last listen. I'm a fan of Neil Young, and I'm looking forward to this listen.

While this isn't my favorite Neil Young album, this one is quite solid. I'm adding it to my list of albums to listen to again.

I'm pretty sure I know all the tracks on this album, and may have listened to it start-to-finish before, but not in many, many years. I'm not a huge fan of this, and have a suspicion that a fresh listen will remind me that I find it mostly meh. We'll see what happens this time around though.

The production just feels very dated, and I'm not a fan of Mark Knopfler's singing. Those two factors combine to make for an album that just doesn't grab me.

I don't think I recognize this artist, album, or any of the tracks. So I'm mostly going into this completely blind.

You know how in the movie "This Is Spinal Tap" they go through the history of Spinal Tap as they evolved through the sixties and attempted every single fad genre? This album feels like it could be one of Spinal Tap's psychedelic/folk forays, or at least possibly a template they could have used to make a joke song for Spinal Tap to play during this era. There's nothing bad about this album, but seeing a lot of high praise for it also seems jarring. I wonder what I'm missing about it. It's just solidly meh, and I don't really feel compelled to listen to it again.

Wait. Are we just going to overlook the first line of "Live and Let Live"?

I know enough about this album that I'm suspecting that I won't enjoy this. I don't like the hits I know, and the whole vibe of this group just doesn't make sense to me.

There's just something off-putting about the combination of this electronic/disco/rock combination genre they've created. And I don't like Brandon Flowers singing style either. So the whole thing just doesn't work for me.

I'm aware of this album, but I don't think I know any of these tracks. I'm mostly going in blind, but looking forward to this listen.

If Darby actually sang on this instead of just barking, I'd probably put this in "Classic Album" territory. The rest of the band is fantastic. That being said, he's not so bad that this is unlistenable. I'll be adding this to my list of albums to listen to again.

I recognize a bunch of these tracks by title, but have never listened to this album start-to-finish. When it comes to jazz, I prefer instrumental jazz to vocal jazz. And I'm also just not a big fan of Sinatra. So, we'll see what ends up happening here.

This is pretty good, but not great. It's definitely nice and smooth, and some of my complaints with Sinatra are related to his later work.

I've listened to two other PJ Harvey albums and despite not knowing much about her, I ended up enjoying those two. I don't think I recognize any of these tracks by title, so I'm kind of going in blind. But based on previous experiences, I'm looking forward to this listen.

I'm still not sure why I never checked out PJ Harvey previously, because I quite enjoy this. It's another PJ Harvey album I'll be adding to my list of albums to listen to again.
