This was a very weird album. I couldn't tell if it was a joke album, or serious, or what it was.

That said, there was some very interesting things here and I was surprised that I didn't want to turn it off more. But it's not going to get listened to again most likely.

It was recorded very well, too.

I thought this album was perfectly fine. Nothing really special, nothing I'm going to revisit anytime soon. Perfectly fine music to have on in the background or while driving.

This is the Bruce I usually think of when I say I'm not really a fan. Sure there are huge hits on here, but nothing really makes me feel anything. Give me Nebraska anytime.

Didn't really know this band other than the one song (which I know the Sixpence None The Richer cover better anyway) but I really enjoyed it. Will listen to this one again.

This was a weird album and I was trying to figure out why it was picked for this list. Then it comes up on demo albums for CD players from the 80s all the time and that sort of made sense, but I still don't think I had to hear this one.

As much as I'm not really a fan of this type of music, and Gaye can be hit or miss for me, there's something about the songs on this album. There's a reason that it's the joke music put on in the movies for when the main characters are going to be ... intimate. Because just hearing the opening of the title track, everyone is the same headspace.

Jack Black doing his cover of it in High Fidelity is a such a highlight of that movie, too.

One of the prototypes of the Seattle sound. It's really loud, noisy, fuzzy, grungy, sludgy, etc. Pick your adjective.

I liked this even better than Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge. The expanded edition gets repetitive, but if you're in enough that you want to listen to an expanded edition, you get what you're after.

Some of this works so well it's hard to say it's not a great album. The Hurt cover alone is probably enough to get this a great rating. But there are some stinkers on here, you can't ignore them. But the good is so good that I'll still give it a really good rating.

I hated this so much. It's two genres I don't like to start and combining them together doesn't make it any better. Even my daughter asked "You're giving this a one, right?" when listening to it in the car. Nothing here was enjoyable for any length of time and then it keeps going on forever.

I did not enjoy this at all. While I never did skip a track, I'm not sure if there's another album on the list that had me looking at the time left in the song as often as this one did.

I enjoyed listening to this quite a bit. It would probably be a 4 star album, except at some point they decided that they had to use every instrument in the studio. I didn't think that worked and it pulled me out of the listening experience at times. So it's an okay record, I'll probably listen to it again. But I don't know if I'll actively seek to put it on.

I liked this okay, but I think this has been my least favorite of the Joni Mitchell albums so far. Which isn't to say it isn't good, it is. But there has to be one least favorite, right? And since it's my least favorite so far, I'll knock it down a star it probably doesn't deserve to be knocked down.

You knew, without even looking or thinking, that this album was going to be on the list. In fact, if this album wasn't on the list, the list would be useless.

This is a great album start to finish. If not Floyd's best work, it's for sure their most important.

And like every other hipster out there, this was the first album I listened to when I bought my fist record player. Easy 5 stars.

I always say that I'm just not a country fan. Then this generator generates "county" music that I like. I liked this, I liked the singer-songwriter stuff. It did get a little twangy, at times, but I just liked it. I would probably classify this more as Americana a-la Tom Petty than I would full on country.

Or maybe I like country more than I thought I did.

Some classic Rock and Roll, a little mix of some jazz I can listen to. Overall it's an okay album, with songs that I'd listen to again. It may have been groundbreaking in 1957 but it's tough to come in in 2024 and feel the same way about it.

Liked it more than I expected. Not my favorite genre, but the messages in this album still resonate quite strongly, 30+ years later. Loses maybe a star for being a bit too same-samey the whole way through the album, but it's still not bad.

I think I liked this a little better than Modern Sounds, especially the faster songs. But I thought the back-half dragged a bit. Not a bad album, but one that will be a while before I revisit.

This was a weird one. I liked it okay, but there are better versions of everything they're doing on here out there. It's cool that they're not US or UK based, but that doesn't make it good just because of that.
