Too bad. I had expected a bit more from the album. The music was funky and good. But it didn't carry me away as much as I expected. 3/5

Since the album on the list wasn't available from my streaming provider, I listened to another album of hers. Unfortunately, this says very little about the album listed, but I didn't like her voice. Therefore and out of ignorance 3/5

The beginning of the album was very interesting. Unfortunately, the tension could not be maintained over the long playing time of over an hour. Overall, the album was interesting and enjoyable, but left a somewhat boring impression. 3/5

This is Elvis Presley as we know him. There are many important and good songs on the album. And although it's quite short, it still felt long to me. 3/5

Bob Marley. I was looking forward to the album. After listening to it, I realize that it's not my favourite album. But there are some great tracks on it. I liked Stir It Up and Kinky Raggae the best. 4/5

Bollywood? World music? That's not my world. I listened to it anyway. The album was surprisingly fun and diverse. Many styles were taken up. In the end, it was too Indian for me to listen to it again. Nevertheless, it was fun. 3/5
A really cool album. In the long run, Curtis Mayfield's high falsetto voice is a bit exhausting. I really enjoyed listening to the album. 4/5

I'd never heard of the band or the album before. I didn't miss much either. The music on the album was pretty boring. The only good thing about it was that it wasn't particularly annoying. I can only speculate as to why such an album should be one of the 1000 best. Perhaps a new album simply needs to be added to the list at regular intervals. 3/2

When I heard the first track on the album, I thought: 'My goodness, another whiny whine'. I was about to quit, but gave the album another chance. It wasn't bad. But in between, I like Neil Young's music. His voice and his music always walk the line between annoying and pleasant. I don't think there are so few albums in the world that this should be one of the 1000 best. But overall it was nice to have heard it. 3/5

I wasn't familiar with the album before. I liked it very much. I will listen to Stevie Wonder more often. 4/5
Rated 4/10
I wasn't particularly interested in the album. The music is a bit flat and clattery. The singer's voice, which reminded me a bit of a young Mick Jagger, is a little too shrill and is emphasized too much by the instruments. 2 hours playing time is far too long for me. 2/5

I am familiar with the name Paul Weller. However, I had forgotten his music. Good opportunity to listen to it again now. I quite liked the album. It didn't really excite me, but I'm happy to listen to it again. 4/5

I came into contact with a lot of Krautrock in my youth. Much of what was being produced and tried out in Germany at the time was groundbreaking and revolutionary. However, I've always had problems with some forms of experimentation. This album by Faust is one of those works that I find too exhausting. It was interesting to listen to, but I couldn't really make friends with the work. 3/5

I was never that big a fan of Aerosmith. Nevertheless, there were a few songs that I liked. Perhaps the accompanying video clips played a big part. I'm familiar with this album, but I haven't listened to it. I have now done so. It's ok. However, I wouldn't have thought that 1000 albums would be so extensive that this album would be one of the best. In my opinion, there would be better candidates. 3/5

No, I didn't like that. I listened to a large part of the album. Musically, I found the whole thing quite flat. But it would have been bearable if the singer's voice wasn't so awful. I gave up after half of the album, exasperated. 1/5

The album was ok - but nothing more. It didn't catch me. It was quite interesting to have heard it once. But that's enough. 3/5

Hip-hop once again. I listened to two tracks on the album. The usual aggressive screaming. I don't need to hear that. I'm not in the mood for that. The only good thing about the album is that I wasted no time and finished it quickly. 1/5

This music is so reminiscent of the cultivated boredom of the late 50s that I almost dislocated my jaw when I yawned. I didn't have to listen to this album either. 1/5

I don't normally like folk so much. Especially when it comes to vocals with minimal instrumentation, here just a guitar, I think of false campfire romance. It's different with this album, even though the key data is the same. I enjoyed this album. I hope Bert Jansch, who I've never heard of, also enjoyed it. I might listen to the album again later. As one reviewer rightly wrote? Handmade, not manufactured. 4/5

If this is Scott Walker's most praised album, I'm glad I don't even know the others. I started with this album. After 1.5 tracks, I was sick of this junk. Also an album that I definitely don't need to listen to. 1/5
