Never heard of this band, but enjoyed this far more than I expected to. Solid indie type rock that isn't over polished and has a great sound. 4/5

Very interesting to me that most of these Canadian bands of this era have such a similar sound. And it is mostly BLEH. 2/5

Hot to Go is an absolute banger. The rest of the album has some decent spots but I felt it was like 3-4 songs to long. 2.5/5

Most of my exposure to Descendents is from their early 90s output. Hadn't ever gone back to their debut and I wish I had. Great energy! 4.5/5

Love me some Lumineers. While I would probably opt for the first album this one also has a ton of great songs/melodies. Really solid in concert as well! 4.5/5

Knew the Sopranos song, but the rest was surprisingly fun. They have a vibe and execute it well. Maybe a little too samey by the end. 3.5/5

Have listened to a decent amount of MMJ in the past (primarily Z and It Still Moves). I liked this live album better than any of those albums individually...definitely a great live band. 3.5/5

I don't skew pop, but this was even a little lacking for what I come to expect. Applause is a banger and a great song, but honestly would be fine never hearing any of the other songs the rest of my life. 1.5/5
